Ceremonial Hot Dog Cutting to Celebrate National Coney Island
The Eastpointe-Roseville Chamber of Commerce, first established in 1922, is pleased to announce that they are flourishing and growing stronger each day. With Danielle Bare as the Executive Director and Linda Weishaupt as the Membership Director the Chamber has been working diligently to improve services and provide consistency to the businesses of their Membership by providing discounts that help lower the cost of doing business, as well as providing the opportunity for networking. The Chamber strives to represent their Membership with local government and community leaders in a professional manner and are delighted to publicize that Eastpointe and Roseville are each great places to do business.
The Chamber also set a personal goal to focus on adding new Members to ensure the continuation of this committed collection of businesses and professionals working together to improve the quality of life in the communities in which we live and work. When Danielle and Linda began working with the Chamber in January of 2013, the Membership was at 164 Members. With hard work and dedication, Linda wanted to further grow that Membership by setting a person goal of gaining 100 new Members.
Thus, we are pleased to proclaim that a significant milestone of adding the 100th new Member to the Eastpointe-Roseville Chamber of Commerce has been officially accomplished. This 100th new Member is National Coney Island, a business that has been a primary business in Roseville for many years. They share in the belief that our communities are a great place to do business, with their corporate headquarters located on Groesbeck and several other restaurants located in Roseville. They are investing in our future with recent upgrades to the “iconic” sign at Gratiot and I-696 with a changeable electronic sign board and with the construction of a new location opening soon on Gratiot Avenue just North of Masonic, directly across from the ongoing revitalization occurring at Macomb Mall.
The Chamber will welcome National Coney Island to their Membership on Monday, July 21st when its newest location will open its doors to the public.
To celebrate, National Coney Island is offering various special promotions and giveaways. The first 50 customers at the Masonic location on opening day will receive a $100 gift card to use at any National Coney Island restaurant. In addition, beginning August 1st through August 7th they will be providing a 20% discount for customers with a valid student ID. And from August 8th through August 14th active Military and Veterans with a valid Military ID will be able to enjoy a 20% discount.
