County Executive seeks members for Bicentennial Advisory Council
Macomb County Executive Mark A. Hackel is seeking individuals and advocacy groups interested in joining the Macomb County Bicentennial Advisory Council, which will be charged with coordinating and initiating festivities dedicated to celebrating the county’s 200th birthday in 2018.
“We are proud to be part of this historic time in our county and this commission will give us the opportunity to appropriately celebrate this milestone,” said Executive Hackel.
Executive Hackel seeks to engage a group of citizens who will help in creating these milestone celebrations. Deputy County Executive Pam Lavers will lead the efforts of the bicentennial advisory commission. Any individual or organization interested in aiding in this process can call 586-463-4877 or email lavers@macombgov.org..
