Minigrants will be awarded in two categories:

  • Arts and Culture Projects – organizations may apply for grants of up to $4,000.

Michigan non-profit organizations, schools, municipalities and individual artists are eligible to apply and the Round 1 deadline for activities that take place between October 1st, 2018 and September 30th, 2019 (individual professional artists are only eligible for professional development support).

Workshops

The Anton Art Center will offer a series of FREE informational workshops on minigrant guidelines and the application process. Funds are awarded on a competitive basis, and organizations will benefit from submitting a well-written grant application and supporting materials which conform to the guidelines.

Attending an application workshop will help applicants understand what is required for a competitive application. Though not required, new and prospective applicants are encouraged to attend one of these workshops.

Workshop Schedule

RSVPs are requested for workshop attendance. To RSVP, please email Greg DeLauro at gdelauro@theartcenter.org, or call (586) 469-8666. Minigrant guidelines for Region 10A are available now.
