Deadline
Submit completed online applications through the MCACA e-Grant system here. Deadlines are as follows:
Round 1 – August 3, 2018 at 11:59PM EST
Round 2 – January 15, 2019 at 11:59PM EST
Categories
Minigrants will be awarded in two categories:
Arts and Culture Projects – organizations may apply for grants of up to $4,000.
Professional or Organizational Development – individual professional artists and organizations may apply for grants of up to $1,500.
Michigan non-profit organizations, schools, municipalities and individual artists are eligible to apply and the Round 1 deadline for activities that take place between October 1st, 2018 and September 30th, 2019 (individual professional artists are only eligible for professional development support).
Workshops
The Anton Art Center will offer a series of FREE informational workshops on minigrant guidelines and the application process. Funds are awarded on a competitive basis, and organizations will benefit from submitting a well-written grant application and supporting materials which conform to the guidelines.
Attending an application workshop will help applicants understand what is required for a competitive application. Though not required, new and prospective applicants are encouraged to attend one of these workshops.

The Anton Art Center is a registered nonprofit organization located in Mount Clemens, Michigan, with a mission to enrich and inspire people of all ages through the arts. The Anton Art Center is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10am until 5pm; admission is free and open to the public.
