While strong economic growth is predicted in Michigan over the coming months, sustaining and growing small businesses, which are the lifeblood of our communities, must remain a top priority.

I invite you to join me and Lt. Governor Garlin Gilchrist II on Wednesday, June 23 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (EDT) as we bring together small businesses, state and local policymakers, regional economic development leaders, banks and credit unions, business owners and community organizations for a one-day, virtual summit focused on helping small business thrive here in Michigan.
And the conversation won’t end on June 23 – we want to take the momentum coming out of this summit on the road over the summer to make sure we have the most inclusive process and impactful programs possible.
