Local Vocational High School to Restore Historic Military Vehicle

The Michigan Military Technical & Historical Society (www.mimths.org) and Drive One Detroit (www.driveone.net) have partnered to restore the museum’s 1977 Dodge M880 truck. The truck will undergo a full restoration by the students at Drive One, and when complete, join the museums fleet to support Veteran’s Events, Parades, and Car Shows.
The restoration will begin in the fall of 2022 at the start of the school year.
They are seeking donations of cash, shop supplies or parts for the project. Contact chris.causley@mimths.org for list of the parts needed for the truck.
