ENGLISH GARDENS TO HOST MOTHER’S DAY FUNDRAISER
FOR THE BARBARA ANN KARMANOS CANCER INSTITUTE
DEARBORN HEIGHTS., Mich., April 30, 2018 – For the fourth consecutive year, English Gardens is hosting “Baskets for a Cure” to benefit the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute.
English Gardens will donate a portion of the sale of each flowering hanging basket sold from May 1 – 13, 2018 to Karmanos Cancer Institute’s breast cancer research program. Since 2011, English Gardens has raised $58,400 for Karmanos.
“This program is held around Mother’s Day each year,” explains John Darin, president of English Gardens. “Hanging baskets are a very popular gift for Mom. We sell thousands this time of year.
“Purchase a flowering hanging basket for mom, yourself or anyone special, and we’ll send some love to the Karmanos Cancer Institute to help fight breast cancer.”
English Gardens carries metro Detroit’s largest selection of hanging baskets, including varieties for sun, shade, Proven Winners, and many exclusive combinations.
