Final Weeks for Girl Scout “Women Throughout the Wars” Exhibit
Girl Scout Troop 30007 of Warren created a “Women throughout the Wars” exhibit in honor of women military personnel. The exhibition opened at the Michigan Military Technical & Historical Society in Eastpointe on Veteran’s Day, November 11, 2016. The exhibit will remain open to the public through March 19, 2017.
The exhibit was created by the girls to attain their Silver Award — the second-highest award for Girl Scouts, which is for Cadette Scouts ages 11-14 or in grades six through eight.
March is Women’s History Month and March 12 is the birthday of the founding of the Girl Scouts.
