DRIVE THRU COLLECTION UPDATE

Thank you to everyone who donated and helped on Saturday, December 12. We collected 112 pair of pajamas, 450 books, a ton of toys/socks/underwear, and $63 in donation funds at the drive thru event.

The Chamber of Commerce donated an additional 30 pairs of PJ’s. Chamber Member Cooks – The Lampshaders provided 15 PJ’s. The Chamber also served as a collection center gathering an additional 18 PJ’s and 27 books.

Totals as of 12/16/20 were 1,260 pajamas, 1,224 books, and many toys and socks.

Donations delivery on 12/18/20 to 3 local homeless shelters: McRest / Lighthouse / Turning Point.

The location was awesome. Easy in-out access. The inside lobby kept us warm and dry and was perfect for sorting and tagging donations. Thank you, Louie, for your warm and cheerful hospitality.
